Winter Barn Wood Sign: Merry
TUTORIAL: You can see a full tutorial on how to make barn wood signs HERE.
The colors used for the sign are Emperor's Silk, Graphite, and Old White chalk paint. Acrylic paint or latex would work well, too, but might need a primer coat first.
I used a staple gun to attach the star ornament to the back of the sign as an embellishment (I don't have an affiliate link to the exact ornament that I used for this sign, but the link is another option for a rustic star that would work equally as well). I like the extra bit of dimension that it adds to the sign.
For the staging I used pine cone Christmas trees. You can see my previous how-to post HERE.
Tucked inside the basket is a hand knit scarf. The pattern I used is called "Chinese Wave". It was an easy pattern to follow.
I have a few more signs to finish up to sell in my booth, and then I will be finished making signs for the season. Thank you for stopping by The Black Sheep Shoppe today.
