This side table was a quick and easy update with French Linen and Old White.

I painted the bottom shelf and top in Old White. The sides are painted in French Linen. I added a border around the sides and on the top with contrasting colors.

I sanded the painted stencil to give it a worn patina.

I added a stenciled border in contrasting colors to the top and the sides.

Contrasting colors were used in French Linen and Old White for the stenciled borders.

French Linen chalk paint works well as a neutral color.
