Pine Chest of Drawers

Versailles chalk paint on dresser.

Today's project is a burnished pine chest of drawers. It's a very sturdy piece but the top had seen better days. No worries though, a little elbow grease and some paint will give it a fresh new look! I chose a color scheme of Versailles and Old Ochre. I freshened up the drawer bottoms with Linen White.

Orbital sander and variety pack of sand paper (60, 80, 100, 150, 200-grit).
Shellac and disposable foam brushes

This dresser had a severely damaged top. The before and after photos show the dramatic change.

Very pretty! I quite like the combination of Versailles and Old Ochre. This poor old dresser definitely went from drab to fab!
