Vintage Dresser with Mirror

Arles chalk paint with dark glaze.

I painted the dresser and mirror frame in Arles chalk paint. After sealing the paint with clear wax I applied a dark glaze over the paint and then wiped away the excess. The glaze is subtle but helps deepen the color of the paint. The top was stained in Espresso.
The finish is damaged, but the piece has elegant lines.

  1. Did you sand the dresser after you painted it yellow?

    1. No I did not sand the paint. I wanted slight texture to better accept the glaze.
